Jase's Golf R - TLNTDmedia

Jase's Golf R

There are hot hatches, and there are HOT HATCHES – this Golf R is the latter, and with enough horsepower to put your dinner in your lap, there’s certainly no underestimating this VW off the line.

Jase owns a VW Golf R with over 400BHP (402 to be exact with a stage 2 from BEVO Tuning) that looks as good as it runs. The Golf is wrapped in a satin chrome pearl blue from Rapid Graphics UK which is why it looks so eye catching and with the other visual mods in the aftermarket splitters, skirts, rear diffuser, front grill and spoiler, it gives it that stealthy, jaw dropping look. The tints and 4D gel plates are a nice touch too.

Now time to get down to techy bits… As Jase has already stated the R is mapped with a stage 2 from BEVO tuning. Additionally, an r600 intake kit, new turbo elbow - both from Racing Line Performance and an uprated intercooler from Forge Motorsport help get as much as power out of the engine as possible. Although, anything near 400bhp in a car that weighs just under 1.5 tonne is likely to pick some points up on the license, if you catch our drift – not that we’re too complain – bigger power = better smiles per gallon. An uprated clutch from Sachs Performance can also be found on the Golf and a de cat exhaust from Haz Motorsport helps amplify the exhaust note from the 400 horses under the bonnet.

“Next on the list for the golf is either interior or bags”

We think bagging is something that should be done to this Golf eventually, who doesn’t love a VW slammed on the floor? The alternative to either options seems to be an RS3 but as Jase is still undecided yet, only time will tell!
